Who the MONOR Fiber laser 100 W is designed for
This machine is ideal where the highest power in the classic MONOR Fiber line is required – for regular industrial marking, deep engraving of metal parts, and series production, where high speed and a greater power reserve than lower-power models (30/50 W) matter.
- marking serial numbers, dates, and QR/EAN codes on metal parts with higher speed requirements,
- deep engraving of logos, text, and identification data into metal materials,
- labeling tools, components, and metal products in series and intensive industrial production,
- with the optional rotary attachment, marking on cylindrical and round objects as well.

What you can mark and process
How to choose the right fiber laser power?
50 W
- A classic Fiber laser with a good price-to-performance ratio
- Suitable for marking and standard deep engraving of metals
- Lower power and less reserve for demanding/intensive engraving than the 100 W model
80 W MOPA 2.5D
- MOPA source with flexible pulse parameter settings (color marking, fine gradation)
- 2.5D dynamic focusing and motorized Z-axis for curved and uneven surfaces
- Suitable for demanding applications and MOPA-specific processes; lower nominal power than the 100 W model, but wider process flexibility
100 W
- The highest power in the classic MONOR Fiber laser line
- Higher speed and greater power reserve for intensive and deep engraving
- Classic construction without 2.5D – focused on power and productivity for regular industrial operation

Galvo scanning head
The metal galvo head guides the laser beam across the surface, ensuring fast and precise marking without moving the material. The all-metal, robust mount without flimsy plastic parts handles long-term operation and higher loads.

Red positioning laser
Before marking starts, a red laser beam precisely shows the position and size of the future mark on the material – so you know exactly where and how large the text or design will be placed.

Emergency stop and source control
An emergency stop button and separate switches for the source and laser ensure safe machine operation.

Manual height adjustment (Z-axis)
The head height is adjusted manually using a mechanism with a precise scale – quickly, reliably, and without electronics that could drift out of calibration. Experienced operators can therefore focus very precisely and repeatably, with minimal risk of setting deviation.

USB, foot pedal, and rotary attachment connection
The rear panel offers a USB connection to a PC and connectors for a foot pedal and an optional rotary attachment. Electronic provisioning for the rotary attachment is already built into the machine – no additional controller or motor driver needs to be purchased when adding it later.

Permanent marking without consumables
The fiber laser burns a permanent mark into the metal surface without the need for paints or other consumables.

What's the difference between marking and engraving?
The Fiber laser MONOR 100 W can work on metal in two ways – fast surface marking and deeper, efficient engraving. Thanks to its higher power, it handles faster material removal and is better suited to demanding deep engraving and higher productivity than lower-power models.
Marking (surface)
Quickly creates a high-contrast, permanent mark on the material's surface – suitable for codes, text, and logos.
Engraving (deep)
During engraving, the laser removes material to a depth through repeated beam passes – thanks to the higher 100 W power, this happens faster and is also suitable for more demanding deep-engraving applications and higher productivity.

What customers ask us before buying
Who is the MONOR Fiber laser 100 W suitable for?
For customers who need the highest power in the classic MONOR Fiber laser line – regular industrial marking, deep engraving of metals, and higher productivity in series production.
What's the difference between the MONOR Fiber laser 50 W and 100 W?
Both models share the same construction and 200 × 200 mm working area. The 100 W model has a significantly higher-power laser source, which delivers faster marking speed and a greater reserve for deep, intensive engraving compared to the 50 W model.
What's the difference between the MONOR Fiber laser MOPA 80 W 2.5D and the 100 W?
The 80 W MOPA 2.5D uses a MOPA source with a motorized Z-axis and 2.5D dynamic focusing – designed for color marking and demanding processes on uneven/curved surfaces. The MONOR Fiber laser 100 W is a classic (Q-switch) Fiber laser without 2.5D, with the highest power in the line – it emphasizes speed and productivity for standard industrial marking and deep engraving.
Is the MONOR Fiber laser 100 W suitable for deep engraving?
Yes, the high 100 W power is one of the main reasons to choose this model specifically for deep, intensive engraving of metals, where higher beam intensity and speed are needed.
What materials can I mark with a fiber laser?
Primarily metals – stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum. The fiber laser is also suitable for marking selected plastics; we recommend verifying the specific material in advance.
Can the machine also cut material, or only mark and engrave?
The MONOR Fiber laser 100 W is designed for surface marking and engraving, not for cutting through material.
Does the machine support LightBurn?
Yes. The machine is compatible with LightBurn software (as well as CorelDraw, Illustrator, and AutoCAD) – it ships with EZCad by default, but you can also prepare your work in LightBurn.
What software is used to control the machine?
